Arabis alpina ‘Alabaster’ is a sea of snowy white flowers in spring, covering neat mounds of dark green leaves. This charming and robust alpine flowers for a long time in late spring and early summer, and looks beautiful edging paths, in containers or in gravel gardens. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and will also grow happily in crevices in stone walls, or filling gaps in paving.

Planting tips and hints:
Dig a hole approximately twice as deep and 3 times as wide as the plant’s rootball. If your soil is heavy mix in a before backfilling. Place the plant in the hole so that it sits at the same level in the ground as it did in the pot. Firm the soil around the plant and water thoroughly. When planting in containers, use a good multi-purpose compost.
Feeding and aftercare: Cut back hard after flowering to stop plants getting leggy. Avoid waterlogged soil, especially in winter.
